The health and safety representative must look after the employees’ interests in matters concerning the working environment. Roles and responsibilities for coordinating principal protection representative (KHVO)

Function:

Coordinating chief protection officer must coordinate the chief protection officer’s activities and handle cases across the area of ​​activity. The coordinating chief protection representative must be a support and resource for the protection representative service, but must not take over tasks from the protection representative/principal protection representative, and is not an appeal body for these.

Accession: According to regulations for safety representatives and working environment committees.

Duration: 2 years according to AML.

Responsibility: According to Section 6 of the AML for the relevant rig/project

Authority: According to Section 6 of the AML

Competence requirements: According to Noble course and competence requirements for function.

Tools and compensation: Workplace for KHVO in the office, with PC and necessary supplies. Other material that is necessary for KHVO to be able to do a satisfactory job. Access to the intranet from the company’s PC when working at home during free periods/or in a full-time position.

Main tasks:

  • Assist and coordinate the HVO work in accordance with regulations for health and safety representatives and working environment committees.
  • Set annual target figures, log and follow up target figures for employee participation in relation to The employee participation matrix.
  • Present quarterly results on participation and the protection service’s work in S-AMU and FS-AMU for the individual rig, informative presentations.
  • Member of Central AMU (S-AMU) (4 meetings a year).
  • Member of the PVU committee (min. 4 meetings a year).
  • Member of the chemicals committee.
  • Superior protection services representative (employee participation) in projects, supervision, investigations, audits, risk analyses, etc.
  • Coordinating real employee participation in activities, compare point above.
  • Act as a representative for HVO during rig-specific inspections, investigations, etc.
  • Plan and carry out VO conference every two years (With reservations).
  • Rig visit with verification tasks according to detailed plan.
  • Participate in monthly joint meetings with the company and trade unions.
  • Have a detailed overview of elected representatives in the safety service on the individual rig and in the company.
  • Other tasks in line with AML regulations for the security service.
