We in SAFE have raised this issue repeatedly over the past several months, both through the Training Group and directly with management.
We are finally starting to see some progress. While the measures outlined below are encouraging, it is important to recognize that Aida Paulsen has inherited a significant backlog of issues and process challenges. It will take some time to fully resolve the existing problems and implement sustainable improvements. We appreciate that steps are now being taken and will continue to monitor developments closely.
Received from the head of the training group in Norway
Issue 1. Booking and follow up of course participation Challenge: Persons have been booked too late for their start work date, booked too late for courses, booked on the wrong courses etc. This is not applicable for the majority of persons who are handled by Relyon, but we have enough cases to make it a costly and frustraing experience for management and employees. Actions: Aida Paulsen (previous training coordinator when we were Maersk Drilling) has been hired to bring Norway specific knowledge to the training group working with the rigs in Norway. Noble Norway management are also following up towards the head of the learning and development team in Houston, Patrick Ewbank, regarding the poor relyon delivery, and the errors made by our own training analysts.
